not only in the swiss hotels but also in the apartments, there are various conflicting star systems. The sad part is that all the star systems by the taxpayer from the same fund ( Innotour ) funded.
In the following we have chosen a holiday accident and the stars at different Sites compared.
On the website of Switzerland Tourism www.myswitzerland.com the apartment with three stars as a middle class home is listed. 
On the website of Arosa Tourism the same apartment with no less than five (!) Stars is listed as a luxury apartment. Ironically Switzerland Tourism for the website of Arosa Tourism responsible. 
Finally we have found the apartment on the website of the Swiss Post (ferienwohnungen.search.ch). There is also the apartment as Arosa Tourism rated with five stars. As a symbol of the stars of the golden flower of Switzerland is used tourism.
